As we enter a new decade, we celebrate the 10th anniversary of Security BSides London. It has been a long journey from the original small venue at The Skills Matter eXchange via the Kensington and Chelsea Town Hall to our current residence of the ILEC Conference Centre.
Today, BSide London has grown to surpass over 1000 registered participants without compromising on value or quality of the content.
We have been honoured to have some big names from our community speak. Not only have we enjoyed the support of our international community with people like Jack Daniel, Trey Ford, Wendy Nather, and most recently Mikko Hyppönen but also from closer to home with Stephen Bonner, Thom Langford, Javvad Malik, Ken Munro and Ollie Whitehouse to name just a few.
And that is because each year, the call for presentations has consistently given us a selection of top tier talks with you get the final say on the content through our community vote.
When Arron ‘finux’ Finnon and Robin ‘digininja’ Wood, started the rookie track with the support of our sister conference DeepSec, little did we know the importance and the platform it would provide to mentor and kick start some superbe speaking careers and projects, it had become one of the busiest tracks in the conference.
Diversity is a big thing for our conference and every year we strive to make the event not only inclusive but also to help anyone share their knowledge in a safe and fair environment
We have also had our share of sadness and losses during this 10 year tenure. Most recently just last year with the early departure of a big supporter of and speaker at our event, Mike Kemp.
With that said, the crew is hard at work organising this year's event. We are happy to announce that this year's edition will take place as usual alongside that other thing.
The 10th edition of Security BSides London will be held on the 3rd June 2020 at the ILEC;
Workshops will be held the day before on the 2nd June 2020 at the ILEC.
What to expect next:
Hoping to see you on the 3rd of June, until then stay safe and healthy.
